Peg Farrell

Peg

Publisher and Editor

Peg Farrell has designed and edited publications for a variety of audiences and in a wide range of subject matter, including nutrition education/evaluation, pharmaceutical advisory services, biotechnology economics, and neighborhood associations. She created, modified, and integrated graphic designs and images, and also developed typographical conventions and style guides for these entities.

Past employers include several research centers and the Botanical Gardens at the University of California, Berkeley; WebMD, San Francisco; the Lloyd Ecodistrict, Portland, Oregon; Osborne / McGraw Hill Publishers, Emeryville, California; and the California Department of Health Services, Sacramento.

Her formal training includes a PhD in Nutrition Science from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Foods & Nutrition from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California. Less formal training reflects her strong interests in wordsmithing, graphic design, and event management. Peg believes that world domination will be achieved through the clever application of knitting needles and hand-dyed, washable wool yarn.
